Emotional Wellbeing & Resilience
For Female Leaders and Organisations
Why Emotional Resilience matters
In a world where chronic stress has reached unprecedented levels, emotional resilience is critical. Without a resilient ‘core’, we expose ourselves to the risk burnout and stress-related illnesses.
While resilience is often described as the ability to ‘bounce back’ when we experience challenges, I consider it to be an even greater enabler to lean forward.
Being emotionally and mentally resilient enables us to take greater risks, to make bolder life choices, to stand up for what matters and to step up in our life and career with courage - because we trust that we have the capacity to cope with any outcome.
Raising our emotional resilience is making a decision to let go of the stress that is fuelling our days, to live a deeper and richer life, and to sustain our wellbeing while making the impact we desire to have in our personal and professional life.
“1 in 4 women are contemplating what many would have considered unthinkable less than a year ago: downshifting their careers or leaving the workforce. Companies risk losing women in leadership - and future women leaders - and unwinding years of painstaking progress toward gender diversity.”
— McKinsey Women In The Workplace Report 2020
About me
I’m an Emotional Resilience Coach & Trainer, passionate about addressing the stress and burnout epidemic our society is suffering from. I specialise in offering resilience and wellbeing programmes to female leaders and organisations.
I help female leaders to let go of the stress that is fuelling their days, and to develop the emotional resilience they need to have the impact they desire without sacrificing their wellbeing.
I support organisations to prevent high functioning anxiety, stress and burnout within their female leaders, and to embed emotional resilience at individual, team and leadership level.
I founded my coaching practice in 2017, after spending over 20 years in the corporate world. I held a variety of financial roles at AT&T, PwC, and United Technologies Corporation, before moving to the online world in 2000, holding roles at Amazon, Yahoo!, and JustGiving.
How I can help you. Are you …
A Female Leader
Caught up in the race of life. Endlessly striving to do more and be more in the hope that it will lead you to feeling whole, fulfilled and happy.
On the surface, you appear together, highly organised, always willing to help and in control of your life.
Yet, underneath the well-kept appearances, you are constantly fuelled by an under-current of stress and anxiety. The recent pandemic has left you feeling overwhelmed and exhausted.
You realise that the path you have been on is no longer sustainable.
An Organisation
Wanting to proactively address the effect of stress and anxiety on your female leaders and employees’ retention and performance, as well as the secondary impact it is having on your diversity and company culture.
You are a forward thinking organisation which recognises the importance of embedding wellbeing at all levels.
You understand the importance of resilient leadership and you want to equip your leaders with the tools and knowledge they need to lead their teams safely and responsibly at this time in order to create a culture where diversity and psychological safety prevail.

What people are saying.
“Working with Isabelle has been life changing and something I will never forget.”
“I had been to various types of coaches, but Isabelle knows how to draw out the best of you, and show it to you in a light that you’ve never seen before. Our work has given me tools, direction and focus, and has helped me to feel calmer and more positive. I know that I will have ups and downs but I believe I have the resilience to cope."
“Working with Isabelle has been absolutely life changing. I have come to really appreciate how our minds work in terms of dealing with issues and how this can affect behaviour. I have been able to process negative emotions that I had been carrying around for years. This has been an absolute revelation”
“Isabelle has helped me to get to a point where I am able to bring my whole self to any given situation, without the negative emotions getting in the way, clouding my judgement and dictating my behaviour. It's been incredibly rewarding and being free from those negative feelings has allowed me to feel truly happy for the first time in many years.”
Why Emotional Resilience matters
In a world where chronic stress is rampant, emotional resilience is critical. Without a resilient ‘core’, we expose ourselves to the risk burnout and stress-related illnesses.
While resilience is often described as the ability to ‘bounce back’, I consider it to be an even greater enabler to lean forward.
Being emotionally and mentally resilient enhances our appetite to take greater risks, to make bolder choices, to stand up for what matters and to step up in our career and leadership role with courage - because we trust that we have the capacity to cope.
Here is what you can expect to see when your female leaders become more emotionally resilient:
Resilient performance.
Developing inner leadership skills will help them to manage stress, as well as lean forward more boldly. Sustained by a strong emotional and mental ‘core’, they will be able to perform at their highest level without sacrificing their wellbeing.
Resilient leadership.
By leading with calm, compassion, clarity, courage and confidence, they will role model embodied, resilient leadership qualities within the organisation.
Resilient culture.
Through positive emotional contagion, their resilience will create a ripple effect within their peers and team members, thereby contributing to embedding wellbeing at organisational, team and individual level.
My Approach is…
Embodied
It is not confined to working with the mind alone - embodiment is woven throughout for longer lasting change. Stress is a physiological reaction: it happens within the body. Therefore, processing stress requires working with and through the body.
Trauma-informed
It is attentive to my client’s personal history, which means that it offers a safe space to express and explore emotional and mental challenges that they are often unable to share in any other context.
‘Lived in’
Having spent 20 years in the corporate world, I understand first-hand the challenges that your female leaders face. I have lived through them personally. This allows me to bring a unique ‘lived-in’ sensitivity, compassion and practical insight to my work.
